Greenville, SC. (May 3, 2003) Mediasation, Inc. opens the first of its remote sales offices in the Greenville Mall. While mall-space may be somewhat unorthodox for a professional services company, it is an ideal location for a sales office and training center.
The new construction on the I85 corridor is fostering new businesses in the area – many needing web services. Mediasation has strategically positioned their sales office at the busy interchange of I85 and I385 in anticipation of the tremendous growth.
“The rapid growth of our sales force required us to rethink how we were going to provide office space for them,” says Mediasation’s Michael Beck. “We needed a space that was conveniently located and could accommodate both our sales team’s needs and training classes. We found that in the Greenville Mall.”
The office is set up as a “hotel” space for sales people. Several desks with phone and high-speed Internet access are available for reps to check in between appointments. This efficient office space is increasingly becoming the norm, particularly with companies whose sales force focuses on being out in the field, rather than behind a desk.
The sales office pulls double-duty as Mediasation also uses this space to hold training sessions on their flagship product, the Mediasation CMS. Here, in the familiar environment of the Greenville Mall, clients and new hires learn the ins and outs of maintaining a website with the easy-to-use Content Management System.
