Ryan Beck — Chief Idea Officer
Ryan's skills are a unique blend of talent and experience. He served four years
in the Army's military intelligence core as an Afghan linguist, and has also been
recognized for his programming and design skills since grade school. This seeming
dichotomy results in creative designs, detailed code, and a truly distinct perspective
on projects of all types.
Ryan graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a degree in computer operations
management and moved to Chicago to work for a web development company as a designer
and programmer. He returned to the Upstate in 2000 during which time he has worked
as a web developer and graphic designer for clients like NuVox Communications,
the Greenville Hospital System, and the American Cancer Society.
When he's not at work,
Ryan spends his free time hiking, fishing, and boating. He also enjoys books and
language. And watch out! He is a big prankster and loves a practical joke!
Charles Carter — Rain Maker
Thanks to his technical background and extensive sales experience, Charles has
a unique outlook on business needs and a remarkable ability to identify appropriate
solutions. He has successfully led the Mediasation sales force to record-breaking
sales year after year.
Charles attended York Technical College in Rock Hill, SC, earning a degree in
computer technology. He moved to Greenville following a project with a major software
manufacturer and spent many years providing software and hardware solutions for
local businesses. Charles' experience in software sales includes leading the sales
effort for PurchaseLink Systems, a software product for the purchasing industry.
Charles and his wife of 22 years have four sons. In his free time, he enjoys
fishing,
photography, and coaching and watching his kids' baseball teams.
James Rivers — The Architect
James plays to win. His competitive spirit is the driving force behind many of
Mediasation's industry-leading solutions and resources. In his role as a developer,
he performs a variety of tasks, including CMS provisioning, higher-level server
support, and database administration.
James received his formal training in the Clemson University computer science
program. He has spent the last ten years programming web applications with database
back-ends, four years of which were specifically focused on developing customer-facing
applications for a telecommunications company in Greenville.
James and his wife have been married for 10 years and have three children. When
he's
not in the office, he enjoys running, tae kwon do, coaching his sons' baseball
teams and attending Clemson sporting events.
Michael Beck — Special Ops
Michael is a man of many talents, and fittingly, he wears many hats in his role
at Mediasation. He is able to converse on many different topics ranging from UFC
fights to theoretical physics. This aptitude is clearly translatable to his role
at Mediasation, where he is ready to assist clients with everything from minor
support issues to large-scale application needs.
Michael has extensive experience in the field of online application development.
He has taken courses in advanced mathematics, science, and technology at the University
of North Carolina at Asheville and strives to stay at the forefront of new technology
trends.
Michael and his wife have been married for 14 years and have three children.
His hobbies include: riding motorcycles, tae kwon do, and target shooting.
Lynda Raley — The Conductor
Toot-toot! Lynda has been making sure all the trains run on time since joining
Mediasation in January 2007. It is her mission to ensure all client projects are
completed on-time and on-budget.
Lynda received her BS in Business Administration and BA in French at Centenary
College in Shreveport, LA. She also studied Literature & Culture at the University
Catholique Polytechnique de Lille in Lille, France. Before joining the Mediasation
team, Lynda worked as a senior writer and web project manager for Infor, the third
largest enterprise software company in the world. Before relocating to Greenville,
she worked for several firms in her hometown of Dallas, TX, including T-NETIX,
Digital Pilot Corporation, and Multimedia Learning.
If you have a sweet tooth, be sure to stop by Lynda's office. She keeps an assortment
of chocolate on hand! It works better than coal at keeping programmers' engines
running.
Tania Nix — Operations Diva
Tania is all about the bling. Her bubbly personality and energetic attitude bring
a fun and inviting quality to every detail of her position as operations manager,
where she is responsible for various office management duties as well as accounting,
training, human resources, and managing the customer support center.
Tania earned her Associate Degree in Merchandising from Greenville Technical
College. Before joining Mediasation, she was a COB claims analyst for Blue Cross
Blue Shield of SC. She also held administrative positions with GEA, Inc. and Textile
Industries.
Tania and her husband have been married for 18 years and have a son, Ryan. Her
hobbies include shopping, scrapbooking, and indulging in chocolate. You can also
catch her spinning around town in her new convertible!
Chris Coker — Code Ninja
Although his ninja training may be questionable, his code skills
aren't. Chris combines ninja-like concentration, detailed testing, and
thorough requirements analysis to deliver powerful apps.
Chris
attended Clemson University where he earned a BS in Computer Science
and a MS in Ecommerce. Before joining Mediasation, he was employed at
NuVox Communications, Inc. as a web developer.
When he's not in the office, Chris enjoys playing poker, working out, traveling,
and cooking. His favorite recipe is
honey nut chicken. Additionally, he has an extensive music library that currently includes 27,806
songs.
Nate Hanna — Standards Code Warrior
Nate is both a talented photographer and a disciplined athlete. These skills
intermix perfectly in his role as a designer with a strong emphasis on web standards.
He brings a blend of creativity and accessibility to each website design.
Nate attended Furman University, earning a BA in Political Science with a concentration
in Graphic Design. He was employed as a web/software developer at Super Duper
Publications and as an interactive designer at Brains on Fire prior to joining
Mediasation in April 2007. Nate is an accomplished runner and was a member of
both the Track and Cross Country teams at Furman and at Blacksburg High School
in VA. During his senior year at Blacksburg, he helped lead his team to two state
titles: Cross Country and the 4x800 relay.
Nate and his wife have been married for five years. In his free time, Nate enjoys
playing "couch ball" with his dog, reading mysteries and horror stories, and the
occasional Nintendo DS game.
Jaimee Stauffer — Searchologist
In terms of search, Jaimee has a lot of practical experience. Her own search
led her from Clarion, PA, to San Diego, CA, and eventually, to Greenville, SC.
Along the way, she learned about web writing, search engine optimization, and
online marketing techniques, working with clients of all sizes to build successful
online strategies.
Jaimee attended Allegheny College, earning a BA in English and Psychology. Before
joining Mediasation in December 2007, Jaimee was employed by Einstein Industries.
She has also served as an SEO consultant for several firms.
Jaimee likes to swim, shop, and travel. Despite her two left feet, she is formally
trained in ballroom dance and enjoys waltzing around her kitchen.
Aaron Cloer — Trouble Sniper
Aaron has traveled the world and encountered many unique people, so it's easy to see why he can relate to the diverse needs of our clientele. Aaron is on the frontline of our Support team and works to eliminate website headaches.
Aaron was born in Spartanburg, SC where he now lives. He graduated from North Greenville University, earning his BA in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Christian Studies and Elementary Education. Aaron has worked in several fields, but none as exciting as the one he is currently in.
Aaron is newly married to his wife Erin. His hobbies include writing, hunting, fishing, climbing trees, and watching Lost.
